working mission statement

 Landscape Architectural Workers for Justice (lawj) seeks to increase awareness of equitable labor practices within design disciplines.

We provide tools that enable productive conversations in the workplace, school and community that serve to build greater protections for designers.


about


lawj was born out of conversations about labor justice and the potential for increased solidarity and organizing within the field of landscape architecture. We envision a future where all landscape architectural workers have access to equitable pay and working conditions, and where job security is not contingent on participating in and perpetuating captialist frameworks.
